Why Train with Tony
If someone who has had a physical injury like broken arm/wrist/leg or dislocated shoulder and plays sports like basketball baseball or soccer, I know how to get them back into the game at a safe pace and have them understand the importance of rest, nutrition and proper exercise.
People have come to me to help them regain some semblance of life after set backs like Bells Palsy/Multiple Sclerosis/Childhood Polio, and they want to run for the first time in their life since they were 9 years old. Hip and knee replacements and shoulder dislocations.
Someone who wants to lose weight. I guide them to smart food choices, with list I give to clients for home and an on the go eating, because we can’t always eat at home. These lists have been looked at by a well respected nutritionist and she approves all the choices. Coupled with exercises to speed up their metabolism they can’t lose. I encourage people to be better than they already are. Audrey was one such client (see article in Philly fit magazine)
I have been hired by clients who have a herniated disc and need help just being able to walk up a flight of stairs. I understand the complexity of spinal injuries because of my own. I can relate and help them gain a more active life, even better than before.
People who are getting ready for their first physical type vacation and want to enjoy it without worrying if they can walk as far or as much as the itinerary has mapped out.
Parent who have a child who is already active and needs that push or help with smart choices of food when out with their friends. So they don’t get out of shape and gain weight that will hamper performance in their sport. I have several certifications for physical training: General Weight/Functional & Core/TRX. Total body Exercise/Kickboxing/Group X Training/Crossfit and Pilates.
Athlete’s who want to get ready for their first marathon call on Tony. Or marathoners who want to train for a tri athlete or get into the New York /Boston marathon. Which I have helped everyday people do just that.
